About Us - Why Us?

                                                     Exceptional Pet & House Sitting, Plus, LLC is a family owned business that specializes 

                                                     in caring for your cats and/or other small pets and your home while you are away.

                                                     As principals we had over 25 years of successfully running our own association and

                                                     meeting management business and we personally deliver all client services in

                                                     your home.

                                                     Our daily visits help keep your pets happier because they remain in the comfort and

                                                     safety of their own home, and we do our best to maintain their regular eating, sleeping and playing schedules. We provide your pet with personalized attention in your home including daily          play sessions, petting and kitty litter or ​cage cleanouts. While we're there, we’ll also help by watering plants, bringing in the mail and newspaper, and taking out the trash and recycling. We are life-long cat lovers and have had cats as important members of our family for over 35 years. Our cats, Sally and Alex, were litter mates when we adopted them as kittens in 2004 and we constantly marvel at how much enjoyment, affection and love they provide us in our daily lives.

As a professional service business we are bonded and insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas. We are also members of the Pet Sitters International and are regular users of their educational and professional development programs and resources.

For those who do not yet know us we provide the following brief professional and personal bios.

Gary Adams. Served as president of Exceptional Management Services for over 20 years. During those years he served as executive director for a number of associations including the New England Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. He is a big sports fan and loves watching Boston sports team games and golf tournaments.

Suzanne Adams. Served as vice president of Exceptional Management Services for over 20 years. During those years she served as director of member services and conference manager for a number of associations including the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. Suzanne has a life-long passion for music and sings with a number of choirs and choral groups.

Both Gary and Suzanne are longtime members of the North Parish of North Andover and over the years have served as committee members and chairs. They have also been involved in leadership roles with the Ferry Beach Retreat and Conference Center in Saco, ME.
